Mango Lassis are always for sale in those machines similar to those Slurpees live in. With yogurt crusted on the sides, the mixture looks like it has been spinning around for days. The tangier the lassi the better in my book so spin on! An Indian favorite, serve these with a hot curry to battle the heat or have one for breakfast. Make sure to add the cardamom otherwise you are just drinking a smoothie - not very jetset, my friend.
-1 individual size tub plain yogurt
-flesh of 1 ripe mango
-1/2 cup skim milk (add more if too thick)
-sugar (or splenda), to taste
-1/2 tsp ground cardamom and a sprinkle for the top
Blend and serve.
*Note: You can make them one day ahead or freeze for lassi popsicles!*
